Sixth day - cultural evening

 The cultural evening means practising

 And practising

And then you're perfect! First the Bohemian Rhapsody with sound effects!
Spreek Nederlands met mij; parli Olandese con me - a wonderful text adapted to our exchange here in Italy
Of course an evening isn't complete without loads of food
Wonderful Italian food, cooked by the mothers of course!

Sixth day

After a morning of preparing for tomorrow's debate it was time for some physical exercise
Most of the Dutch teams got thrashed by the Italians at volleybal...

Eleiza kept score of the most exciting match between two ladies' teams - a close call!!

Still, when we went outside for a football match the Italians met their match
Both the boys' and the ladies'  teams beat the Italians most impressively!!

Weekend

Waiting in line for the excursion to the roof of the Duomo
Never a dull moment when you can have your picture taken with all sorts of officials

The ladies were removing their jeans as it was pretty hot - only to be told off later by church officials that the jeans had to be put back on again when we left the roof via the church itself!
One of the biggest choirs from the EXPO Monte Carlo pavilion was singing in front of the Duomo
And finally the presentations after the Brera visit, everyone did well
So the judge had a hard time deciding who the winner would be!

Second day

After a visit to the Zero Pavilion and a Dutch treat the students became true investigative journalists in order to get all the information they needed for their personal view on Food & Sustainability issues. Our visit to the EXPO was an impressive as well as an exhausting day! Well worth it though!
